Parents and Friends, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, creatively serving people with developmental challenges and similar needs since 1955. We are hiring full-time and part-time for various positions which can include include days, nights, and overnights.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) - The DSP provides day-to-day supervision and facilitation to adults who have developmental challenges and similar needs in a variety of settings based on individual needs and preferences. The goal of this service is to teach needed and desired skills when possible and/or support individuals in ways that promote self-reliance, self-determination and participation in community. Direct Service Professionals may provide support in areas including, but not limited to, educational, vocational, personal care, health, medical, independent living, and community integration. In particular it is hoped that this service will provide access to community resources and opportunities to develop social relationships with peers and others in the community.

Paul Bunyan Thrift Shop & Furniture Annex- Retail Clerk - The Retail Clerk supports the store operations as team player by providing excellent customer service while demonstrating knowledge in all aspects of the day to day processing and pricing of used goods to prepare them for retail sale. Must have the ability to relate well to the public, be a dependable worker with the ability to work weekends, and be able to lift and move furniture with assistance. Training is provided. Previous retail experience is preferred. There are 2 part time positions available.
